Where are the tools in the new layout?
Choose Image, Text, Layouts, Adjust, Compose or More in the left rail. Search all tools searches every category. On mobile, use the bottom dock and close the current sheet to return to the canvas. Properties opens one floating inspector.
How do Letter Portrait and Photo Compositor work?
Open Compose. Letter Portrait places a photo inside a letter with editable masks. Photo Compositor provides a manual cutout mask, feathering, blends, gradients, selective colour and reflection. Use your own authorised photos; these are manual editing tools, not automatic AI scene generation.
How do I move text, drawings and photos?
Select the curved text, word cloud, photo or drawing, then drag inside its selection box. Use Move to finish a crop or brush mode first. Locked layers must be unlocked using the selected-item toolbar or Layers. Curved text and word clouds move as complete groups; update a selected curve to keep its position.
How are advanced adjustments saved?
Select an unlocked standalone photo, then choose an advanced tool. Curves, Levels, Dodge & Burn, Light wrap, Ripples, Duotone, Halftone, Glitch, Liquify and Lens correction form an ordered effect stack for that photo. Apply to canvas closes the workspace. Save an editable project to retain the source and stack. PNG, JPEG and WebP are flattened exports. Advanced working photos use up to 1000 pixels on the longest edge; the untouched original should be kept separately.
How do curved selections and reusable masks work?
Use Compose → Curved selection. Tap to add at least three anchors; drag anchors or their handles to shape the curve. Close the curve into a selection. Choose replace, add, subtract or intersect for the next curve. A selection can limit a new effect or become a photo mask. Save up to 20 named masks locally, or import/export a grayscale PNG mask.
Can I save effect presets and overlays?
More → Effect presets saves up to 30 local presets or exports JSON. Presets exclude photo-specific masks and brush maps. Compose → Overlay library creates original procedural fog, rays, dust, bubbles and light leaks as separate editable layers. Clearing browser storage removes local libraries; export anything important.
How do batch exports and watermarks work?
More → Batch & variants accepts up to 20 PNG, JPEG or WebP files, below 180 MB total. Choose 1–8 widths from 32 to 4000 pixels, one or several formats and optional text or logo watermark. Processing is sequential, without enlargement. Up to 100 output files and 100 MB encoded output are allowed. With no files selected, the current canvas is exported in the requested variants. Download the ZIP using the Save link.
What can panorama and focus stacking do?
Panorama accepts 2–8 overlapping photos. Automatic alignment estimates translation, with manual X, Y, scale and rotation controls; it is not a spherical panorama stitcher. Focus stacking accepts 2–6 photos of a static scene and blends local sharp detail. Camera movement, parallax and subject motion may cause artefacts. Check the preview before adding the result. Add layer changes the canvas immediately; close the workspace to position the new layer, or use native Undo after closing.
Which RAW files are supported?
RAW development runs LibRaw locally and accepts files up to 80 MB and 120 megapixels. Many camera formats are supported, but not every camera or RAW variant. A half-size, 8-bit sRGB image is developed with exposure and camera or manual white balance, then resized to the advanced working preview. Keep the original RAW file; it is not embedded in the editable project.
How does CMYK printing work?
ICC / CMYK print needs a CMYK output ICC profile supplied by your printer, up to 5 MB. LittleCMS converts sRGB to that profile locally and exports an uncompressed CMYK TIFF with the profile embedded and 300 dpi metadata. Transparent pixels are composited on white. A screen proof is approximate. Check physical size, profile and bleed with your printer; normal PNG or JPEG export remains RGB.
Are my photos and profiles uploaded?
The new advanced effects, masks, batch processing, RAW decoder and ICC conversion process selected files in this browser. New mask and effect libraries use local browser storage. Choosing an existing account save or external image import is a separate action governed by the Privacy notice. Exported project files can include original working photos and masks; share them only when intended.
Can I use every tool on a phone?
The layout adapts to screen width with a bottom tool dock and one active tool sheet. Large photos, RAW decoding, focus stacks and CMYK conversion can require substantial device memory. Use smaller files if processing fails. Tool names and navigation support all 33 site languages; some detailed technical hints and this expanded reference use English as a fallback.
